PDFlib is a widely used programming library which allows the programmer to generate and manipulate files in Adobe's well known Portable Document Format (PDF) and integrate this ability into any application or server environment. PDFlib is available for all major operating environments and development environments.

PDFlib+PDI
PDI (PDF Import) is an addon to PDFlib to enable import of PDF files for further processing.

PDFlib Personalization Server(PPS)
Block processing is the main feature of the PDFlib Personalization Server.
PDFlib introduces a new concept to PDF: Blocks, a major step towards variable data processing in PDF. PDFlib TET
PDFlib TET (Text Extraction Toolkit) enables you to retrieve all text content from almost any PDF file and have it normalized to Unicode strings. TET contains advanced content processing algorithms for determining word boundaries (wordfinder) or removing duplicate text. TET provides precise metrics for all glyphs on a page, and fully supports CJK-Fonts. TET comes command line tool and programming library.

PDFlib PLOP and PDFlib PLOP DS
PDFlib PLOP (PDF Linearization, Optimization, Protection) offers a straightforward way to linearize and optimize your PDF files for fast Web delivery, and to apply or remove Acrobat security features.

PDFlib PLOP DS (Digital Signature) offers all features of PLOP, plus the ability to apply digital signatures to PDF documents.

PDFlib pCOS
With the PDF Information Retrieval Tool PDFlib pCOS you can retrieve PDF metadata, hypertext, or any other information from a PDF document. All objects outside the actual page content can be accessed with a simple interface, without any low-level programming (pCOS is short for PDFlib Comprehensive Object Syntax).
